comical King Fei, mark 12 August 2004 on your calendar!
I was supposed to post this yesterday but it slipped my mind. Suddenly this topic was brought up again and decided to write it down before I really forget all about it.
It actually happened on 12th August 2004 on a bright sunny afternoon. After filling our stomachs to the brim with food and drinks, we walked back to college but not after buying some freshly baked buns. So I was eating my bun happily when I heard a noise behind me, you know like when you fill a plastic bag with air and you twist the bag to compress the air further. The type of squeaky sound so I turned behind and saw my girl-friend King Fei twisting the bag in glee while putting her finger to her mouth, signalling for me to not make a noise. In a comical way, she ran in front of me towards my two guy-friends and proceeded to TRY to pop the plastic bag in an attempt to scare them. Unfortunately to say, her attempt failed miserably with her hitting the bag a few times without being able to burst the plastic bag. My two guy-friends looked at her with a look that says “huh?!” she was still hitting the bag and finally gave up when it didn’t pop. Well, it did crack us up coz then we all started laughing at her attempt.
To quote from my dear friend Brandon, “through the few months of knowing King Fei, today (which means yesterday) is the first time I saw King Fei act so idiotic.” His exact words to describe idiotic was “bak chi” (pronounce it in Cantonese) and the way he said it was hilarious. Needless to say, we laughed all the way back to the car, acting the whole scene again. King Fei was a good sport and laughed with all of us. You should’ve seen the look on King Fei’s face and the look on my two guy-friends. It was simply hilarious. Yesterday was a good day, lotsa laughter which is actually good for your stomach as it exercises it, I’m not kidding! Laugh more and you’re on your way to a flatter stomach!
