Naruto, the movie

Woo hoo! I just finished watching Naruto the movie and it was blinkin good! It’s like the kiddy version of Rurouni Kenshin, no offence to Naruto fans. Coupled with humour and cool fighting scenes, this is sure to be a hit among anime fans.

The movie was pretty short, clocking in at 39 minutes. The movie is about a group of “ninjas” protecting the leader of a village who is a coward. As their mission was about to end, the village was under attack and they are ensued in a fight to save the village. Naruto is the clumsy “hero”, providing all the humour. Sakura didn’t get to show off any of her skill and makes me wonder what is her specialty but she harbours a crush for Sasuke. Sasuke is your average cool hero who naturally makes all the girls fall for him and did I mention that he has great skills? There was another ninja in the group but sadly I don’t remember his name. He sorta provides the cold humour, emotionless but sarcastic at the same time.

I should probably start watching the series but so far, there are 97 episodes and it will certainly burn a hole in my pocket but for those with broadband, u can easily download the episodes. I am so hoping to have broadband so that I can download the episodes as well. This animation, Naruto is recommended to all.
